About Me:
        What a wonderful year this will be for your child. They are going to be given lots of opportunities that challenge, engage and excite their young minds through hands-on, messy, and real life experiences. I cannot wait to meet your family and start building our kindergarten family.
        2024-2025 marks the 19th year as a teacher here at Allen Academy. I graduated in 2001 with a BS degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. I also gained a teaching certificate in Texas after moving here 20 years ago. Teaching children is truly my gift given to me by God! I love watching and guiding children by providing experiences that cause them to question, explore, and learn . I also enjoy providing support so that each child knows they are loved by continuously showing them their capabilities and potential to do whatever they want to do with their life.
        I am a single mother raising two beautiful children. My daughter, Kaliyah is 12 years old and going into 7th grade. My son, Kyle is 7 years old and will be starting 2nd grade. We have 3 dogs: Wiloh, Joy and Arrow. I have been a foster parent serving children who are in need of love and support due to rough situations in their life in our local community. My family enjoys traveling, adventures, seeing family, and experiencing the world and its amazing beauty. I love making lasting memories and spending quality time with my children . We enjoy swimming, cheering on the KC Chiefs, and going on nature walks. I am blessed!!
